A second leak at the end of the Dustin Court cul-de-sac was discovered on 7/27/2023. Friday, 8/4/2023, the leak was repaired by Uriel Alvarez of Accurate Construction Services, LLC, of Santa Fe. They first excavated the repair made on 6/11/2023, and found that was not the problem. Several feet upstream, they found another pinhole in the side of the black 1″ poly tubing, aka SDR-7. They cut out about 3′, and connected new tubing with brass couplings. Sand bedding material from the W3ATF site was put around the tubing before the hole was backfilled.
